Indiamart UMEX, an exclusive showcase of Used machinery & allied products
The recent Indiamart UMEX'09 (Used Machinery Expo) has been reported as setting the benchmark for renewed investment optimism moving forward into 21st to 23rd October 2010. Taking place at the Nehru Centre in Mumbai, India, the event attracted more than 6000 visitors over the course of its three days.
“As a brand, UMEX has now established itself as the leading platform for used machinery dealers to connect with the Indian audience,” says Nikhil Behl, executive director of Conventions and Fairs India, the event organizer. “Visitors from all across the country as well as from neighbouring countries thronged the Nehru Centre. The quality and quantity of turnout was comparable to shows organised in the pre-downturn period.
“Each and every exhibiting company was overwhelmed by the response at the show,” he continues. “UMEX is the only show of its kind in India and is now recognized as one of the leading shows for used machinery in the world. The success of UMEX is an important sign of the improving economic climate in India.”
